Jim Sahdra is an experienced corporate/commercial and securities lawyer. He practiced at Canada’s pre-eminent national law firms for a number of years and has managed corporate/commercial and securities transactions ranging in value from several hundred thousand dollars to several hundred million dollars. Through the transactional process he provides strategic legal input and assists with implementation.

Jim has advised businesses of all sizes, ranging from start-ups to multi-national corporations. With a number of his clients he functions in a close advisory role to business owners and senior management and frequently assists in early strategy development on important projects.

Because of his extensive knowledge of Ontario corporate and securities legislation and TSX and TSXV rules and policies, Jim is uniquely qualified as a member of the Keyser Mason Ball LLP Business Law Group.

Jim served for several years on the Ontario Chamber of Commerce’s (OCC) Finance and Taxation Committee and is currently a member of the OCC’s “Red Tape Task Force”, whose purpose is to conduct a systematic review of how the Government of Ontario conceives, implements, reviews and enforces regulations affecting Ontario businesses. He is currently a director and Vice President, Legal Affairs, of the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce and a director of the South Asian Bar Association (Toronto).
