Marc Tannenbaum's practice is concentrated on Family Law, particularly in matters of significant assets, business interests and support claims.

Marc represents clients in all aspects of Family Law including the protection of assets through marriage contracts and co-habitation agreements, property division on separation, as well as contentious custody/access disputes and child and spousal support claims. Marc is experienced in negotiating and litigating the resolution of cases involving business interests, matrimonial homes, pension entitlement and claims between common law spouses. Where appropriate, Marc will employ for the benefit of his clients alternative dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration.

Although he is known as a formidable opponent in court, Marc is compassionate and understanding of the emotional trauma his clients must deal with in their separation and divorce. Though adept at handling acrimonious disputes, Marc knows that winning at all costs often results in a hollow victory. Marc therefore guides his clients toward the most cost effective, successful resolution possible. A strategic thinker and effective communicator, Marc can explain even the most complex legal issues and the court process so that clients can make informed decisions.
