Focus of Practice
Nav Bhandal is building his practice in the area of management labour relations and employment law. He is currently working directly with partners and senior associates in matters of Employment Standards Act compliance, Human Rights Act compliance, labour relations issues, employment contract drafting and reviews, wrongful dismissal litigation, workplace policy drafting and review and other Human Resource law matters.

- Private companies and family controlled companies from small sole proprietorships to large businesses with substantial workforces;
Engagements Include
- Advising clients and supporting partners and senior associates in matters of Employment Standards Act compliance, Human Rights Code compliance, union certification drives and other labour relations issues, employment contract drafting and reviews, wrongful dismissal litigation, progressive discipline and termination, severance agreements, workplace policy drafting and review, workplace law strategies in corporate transactions, and other Human Resource law matters;
- Regularly appears before Judges and Masters in litigation matters;

Recent Experience
- Successfully appealed a trial judge’s decision before the Ontario Divisional Court;
- Successfully defended a client in a breach of contract case before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice;
- Acted as counsel to employers before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Ministry of Labour, and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice;
- Assisted employers in union certification drives;
