Focus of Practice

Suzanna assists and advises successful individuals, entrepreneurs and their families in the area of Wills and Trusts planning, estate administration and the execution of corporate reorganization plans. She supports and advises estate trustees, beneficiaries, heirs, surviving spouses and other family members while ensuring her clients’ priorities and wishes are followed.

Engagements Include

• Business reorganization - Working with clients’ accountants and other professional advisors to implement business reorganization plans, draft and execute a Will (or multiple Wills if required) or a Trust, or even update and align an existing Will or Trust to deal with planned or unforeseen changes in circumstances;
• Changes in family situations - Advising and supporting clients to prepare for or deal with marriage, re-marriage, marriage breakdown or divorce, family loss and other changes in family circumstances;
• Protecting family business interests - Assisting in determining a business and succession plan that will follow the interests and wishes of clients while protecting the business and clients’ beneficiaries and successors;
• Disabled beneficiaries: Advising and assisting in the establishment of trusts for disabled beneficiaries;
• Risk management: Advising in reducing personal and business risks by planning for the certainties of aging and uncertainties of life;
• Providing direction to avoid misunderstandings among beneficiaries, and prevent the need for litigation in the administration and finalization of estates.
