Jennifer earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, with a specialization in Sport Management from the University of Western Ontario. In graduate school she obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Sport Management from the University of Ottawa. Her thesis looked at how the Ottawa Senators’ social media activity fostered online fan relationships and if that translated into measurable increases in fan commitment. She later obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor.
In law school, Jennifer’s interest in mediation blossomed in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Club. She was the Mediation Competition Coordinator, and subsequently the co–President. In her roles she ran multiple speaker engagements and the annual mediation competition.
In her second year of law school Jennifer competed in the Canadian Client Consultation Competition in Victoria, British Columbia. In 2021, Jennifer competed in the largest National moot, the Bowman Tax Moot. With her partner, Jennifer competed in the finals as the number one appellant team.
Prior to law school Jennifer was greatly involved in the community. She was a volunteer with an after school program for Big Brothers Big Sisters for three years.
When she isn’t working Jennifer enjoys playing with her dog Charlie, going for runs, cheering on the Indianapolis Colts and watching the latest series on Netflix.
