Milan Tepić is an Associate at Keyser Mason Ball, LLP, and a member of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Group. He focuses his practice on corporate and commercial law, franchise law, and mergers & acquisitions.

Prior to joining KMB Law, Milan worked as Legal Counsel for a franchisor with multiple restaurant and specialty eatery franchise systems across Canada. In this role, he gained extensive legal experience in corporate law, commercial property leases, franchise law, and franchise operations.

Milan also worked as a Corporate Trust Officer for a global financial services company in Toronto, where he gained legal experience in debt transactions (including debentures, notes, and secured bonds), cash escrows, and refinancing for commercial real estate properties.

He articled at a boutique law firm in Toronto, where he gained legal experience in corporate and commercial law (start-up and high-growth companies), real estate law (commercial and residential), and immigration law (individuals, families, businesses, and judicial reviews).

Milan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law and a Master of Laws in Privacy and Cybersecurity Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. He is currently completing a second Master of Laws in Securities Law at Osgoode Hall Law School.

During law school, Milan volunteered for an ambassador, a Member of Parliament, and Amnesty International through Pro Bono Students Canada.

Milan is dedicated to building long-term client relationships. He is fluent in Serbian and enjoys working out at the gym and spending time outdoors.
