Ciara Halloran is an Associate at KMB Law and a member of the firm’s Corporate & Commercial and Mergers & Acquisitions groups.

Prior to joining the firm, Ciara completed her summer and articling terms at the Toronto office of an international law firm, where she worked across the corporate, intellectual property, commercial real estate, and litigation groups. During her training, Ciara developed a particular interest in corporate and transactional work, with experience spanning mergers and acquisitions, secured lending and commercial agreements, as well as copyright and trademark protection and enforcement.

Ciara is especially interested in transactional work involving intellectual property and businesses operating in the creative industries, including the entertainment, media, and sports sectors. Her broader professional and academic work reflects this interest. She has served as Clinic Manager with Artist Legal Advice Services, supporting artists and creative professionals on legal matters, and has written on Canadian copyright and art law. Her publications include contributions to Art Law: Cases and Controversies and Art Law Around the World.

Ciara earned her J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2026.

Outside of work, Ciara enjoys long-distance running, Pilates, and spending time with her miniature dachshund, Gus.
