George Nashaat

George is a Partner at KMB Law and a member of the firm's Real Estate and Land Development and Banking and Financial Services practice groups.

George leads the firm's Commercial Leasing practice and regularly advises clients on new leasing arrangements, amendments, extensions, and assignments, including complex and franchise-related leasing matters. He also has extensive experience acting for lenders and borrowers on secure lending transactions of all types, including mortgage, asset, and equity-based financings, refinancings, development and construction lending, and intercreditor agreements.

George earned his J.D./M.B.A. from the University of Calgary and is known for his practical, business-minded approach. He provides clear, authentic, strategic advice tailored to his clients' objectives, with strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and a focus on getting real estate deals closed successfully.

When George is not managing client matters, he enjoys travelling, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
